its not as bad as people make it sound... i heard the same stories and came out with an A, w/o the need of a curve... I am o chem 2 and write now my average is at 88 without much effort.. mainly because i understood ochem1 so much better.. but always study for o-chem tests... once u get into the rea...

So how would you guys stack up MCG vs. WVU? I'm leaning now toward WVU for the lifestyle.. i'm not much of a fan of living in augusta for the next 4 years. i dont like west virginia... the whol effing state - personal reasons... u'll grow into hating WVU sooner or later. Oh and one more note... I'm not the kind of person who typically just "settles" for whatever I get. I work my ass off for the results that I deserve . umm... w/ ur mcat, u dont really "deserve" to go to Harvard or comparable top tier schools... U might get into Wake Forest - but...

1) Just to add to the post above which is mostly right, there is no set hours you need to volunteer for. They ar not looking for hours, they are looking for a long term commitment. For example, 200 hours over 2 years at a hospital is far far better then 200 hours in 6 months or something. That goes...
