Like Carib said, Ochem is very important. You will be completely lost in biochem and pharm if you haven't had any organic chemistry. There's a reason that certain undergrad coursework is required.

Hey there! What are your AMCAS GPAs? I.e. take all of your undergrad work, credit for credit, and calculate your cumulative and science GPAs. Those will be more useful in the context of discussing admissions. You mentioned MD schools, but am I correct in assuming you meant DO and MD? How do you feel...

PA school is graduate level (requires a bachelor's to apply in almost all cases) program, typically 2-3 years in length. It is extremely competitive, and while certainly easier to get into than a comparative US MD program it is by no means an assured thing. Most programs result in a master's degree ...

I'm in med biochem right now. The folks that have a biochemistry background (especially metabolic pathways) are better prepared than the ones that don't. I don't feel that undergrad biochem is required to learn med biochem (and my school didn't think so, either), but I would say any additional expos...
