Be frank about it with them. They also understand reason.
Just be calm and don't mix up emotions when you speak about your raise. I think you should negotiate strait off, as if they see you are satisfied with your current pay level, it might be slightly harder later.

I agree that it could be too demanding of you to have a child WHILE starting school.
I guess it all boils down to if you want it or not, do not count the wishes of your partner when answering the question for yourself.
Other than that, stress is unavoidable, especially with a newborn.

Fringe is still an awesome show, even better than it was.
I know it is out there and far from reality, but that is exactly what makes it interesting. I also think that characters grew a a lot and are showing real emotions, unlike at the start of the show, when my feeling was they had no soul.

I would also recommend a laptop capable of running Windows 7 comfortably. That means pretty much any dual core PC with 4gb of ram or more, with as big as hard disk you can get. If it is your only computer (meaning you have no stationary PC), I would also recommend a 15 inch or even 17 inch monitor. ...
