In India, aren't there specific MBBS for every school? I don't much about the Indian medical education system in general, and wouldn't it depend on the policies of the particular school that you attend? "Experience Project" has some stories about failing the MBBS and how the students react...

Agree with 'ellitea' that preparedness, and the time to sort out everything else in your life besides academics, could be beneficial. I know it doesn't seem that way at first because most students are eager to get on with their educations, especially if it is the opportunity to enter a clinical prog...

It depends on how important the Persian-language skills are to you for the preparation part. I can see why it might be helpful, and maybe not unrealistic to find someone from Iran. For example there were three Iranians in our department of the hospital, and it probably is becoming even more common. ...

What were the actual scores on MCAT for each subsection (Bio, Physical, Verbal) ?
There are pretty good estimates of average MCAT for most of the Caribbean schools
