it can help, but is it really worth the time? your time may be spent elsewhere on other subjects that need to be tended to. But if you have free time, then read ahead. But dont overwork yourself! ive seen people in the library studying ahead a few chapters even tho there was a test for previous ones...

BS would just mean you have more laboratory experience or research experience. but you can still get these ECs with a BA as well.

the Caribbean is really a last last option for anybody wanting to become a doctor. Do not take it as your first, cause you will have to work much much more harder than regular students in the US. Youll have to get a above avg score on all the usmle's i believe to stand a chance against US students, ...

If you aren't getting the score you want on the mcat, do not take it until you do. There is the chance that you can get "lucky" but it is not likely. If you decide to take it and do poorly, I would not just goto the Caribbean....i would retake the mcat one or two more times to be sure that...

yeah i dont worry about it, there is always a second time taking it. But it is highly unlikely that you could get into a MD school with the 23, i know it sucks, i am in ur situation with a low mcat.
