APPLY!!!! NOW! A 3.7 overall and a 36 MCAT could get you in your choice of school as long as you nail the interview. Your upward grade trend shows you have matured and your EC's are more than enough (just make sure your volunteering has direct patient contact) Apply...state schools, top teir, middle...

That's what I thought. I heard recently that many pre-med's are looking at DDS because of less school, similar salary, better hours, less legal issues, and less competition for schools. Just hearsay though.

Letters of reccomendation

So if I'm applying to a lot of schools (9) are my advisors and professors going to be writing that many letters each or do I make copies and send them to each school? Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question. I just need clarification.

I bought the book "Organic Chemistry for dummies" and that book definitely helped me get an A in Organic 1. The nomenclature, the stereochemistry, the mechanisms, etc. would have killed me if it wasn't for this book. It explains the concepts and the main ideas in an interesting and entert...
