The AACOM tool never worked for me either. Just pic up the phone book, and call the office. Docs are usually quite open to this sort of thing.

The application shows all of your grades, but the retakes cancel out the first go-around. So if you do better on the pre-req's, you will definitely improve your AACOMAS GPA. An upward trend in grades is always favorable. You aren't barking up the wrong tree. I had a GPA quite a bit lower than yours,...

There really won't be any advantage for a DO grad over the MD student, aside from having more programs to choose from. IM isn't that competitive, and DO's match to allopathic programs all the time. General surgery is more competitive, but there are many DO matches in allopathic slots every year. Tha...

KCOM has a minimum GPA of 2.5. I was in your shoes 3 years ago, and decided to apply for their MS in biomedical sciences degree program because I was too late to apply for the DO program.
