You need to keep in mind that medical schools run background checks now a days. I don't remember all that's asked of applicants to disclose on applications, but if there is a question where you need to disclose this type of information, you need to make sure that you don't lie on your application. hmmm, I wonder if there is any medication for this? anti-anxiety meds? CaribMD also had a good suggestion. And remember during clinicals you'll only have to deal with this mainly during your surgery and ob/gyn rotations, so most of your rotations won't have any blood or gore in them :)
