I took the majority of my pre reqs at a CC, but I took many upper level science sourses at a university. Call the schools you are interested in applying to and ask them if they have a bias against CC credits. Most I talked to did not as long as I received good grades.

You can also apply DO. Go talk to a couple of DO's to understand what they are about. If you want to be a doc then retake or apply DO or Carib. Only you know what decision will be right for you.

There are some schools that have deccelerated programs, in other words the first year is taken over 2 years. I don't think it is done just because there has to be a reason.

The house does not really factor in. Most of the loans you get are unsubsidized no mater what, just because of limits.
