That is dependent on you USMLE part I scores.
Orthopedic programs are very competitive, so you probably have to have a rather high score.
Being a DO doesn't necessarily mean anything...especially if your USMLE part I is 4 std. deviations above the mean!

No, the chances are even better (assuming you make good on the USMLE part 1)!
Why? Because DO students can participate in not only the DO-only match, but the allopathic match as well. So you have quite a few more oppurtunities to you than are available to the MD's.

If you'll look at the post on the DO forum title "Accepted" you'll know how Marcia knows about how AACOMAS calculates the GPA. She just got accepted! (And congruatulations again, Marcia!) And yes, the AACOMAS website will show you sort of a tentative GPA after you submit your application. ...

What ever would make you want to go to that school in particular?
I think they have a fairly bad reputation. Why not look into Ross or St. George's or American University of the Caribbean, all of which have very good reputations?
