i think there are many factors outside ranking. what were your course loads like, what were you doing outside of class, etc. i believe a 4.0 is comendable at any school. I'd be surprised if a 3.3-er knocked out a 4.0-er solely based on school ranking. now if all the 4.0-er did was school and the 3.3...

I would say that you may need to get higher than a 30 to compensate for your GPA.

What is your science GPA over all? your non science?

i'd call them and just ask.

It does sound wierd.

under the contact button on the first screen after you sign into AMCAS there is a phone number you can call. Don't waste time guessing...

she does have a good point... but you have to do something that will make you happy... you don't sound very excited about a post-bac...it will only help you if you do well...

of course i could be wrong on the tone, in which do the post-bac, if you think you would like it

omg....please take the transplant position and go volunteer in India....truly, that will look good on your application...you can always mention you were accepted for the NIH position, but you turned it down to follow something you were truly passionate about...no one will mark you down for that, it'...
