I was just accepted into an Internship

Hi, my short story
I passed all 3 USMLE steps 2010-2014 with attempts and Just under 200 score
Graduated Caribbean Medical School in 2011
I worked really hard have lots of experience current clinical experience
RN since 1989

I spent over a year coming and going to Puerto Rico and this past week, 2 weeks into a 4 week shadowing experience I was accepted into June 2017 internship known as an Internado.

What is this Internado?

It is a 1 yr UNPAID internship that leads to full license to practice medicine in Puerto Rico and in critical area of need in the USA select places.

How competitive is an Internado? Very
Requirements:
You must be fluent in Spanish
You must be willing to drive and apply all over Puerto Rico
Have a plan to live a year without pay.

Congrats, big time.

You've had a rough ride. Pleased to hear that you've made it to the next level. Study hard this coming year. Intern year brings its own challenges.
