What is a good reason to go into DO as opposed to MD?

The belief in non surgical treatment for illness and natural treatments.
DO's have a strong focus on nutrition as well.

Thanks for your input. My rebuttals are:
1. Very few MDs are involved with surgery.
2. Although DOs focus on nutrition and natural remedies, this doesn't mean that MDs don't see the efficacy and value of a good diet.

True, I'll be an MD and I know nutrition is important in over all good health.

Simply I cannot argue if one is better then another to be honest, some of this is individual and for some if they cannot get accepted into an MD school then DO is a good alternative to be a Physician.

If you can't get into a MD school, but you can get into a DO school, then that's a good enough reason.
