info on jobs?

Post by reighna1 »

I’m really interested in all aspects of the health and medical field and would like to persue a career in this industry. I’m one math class away from receiving my bachelors in social sciences.

Can someone take the time out to help me understand the salary / and educational requirements involved w/ the following options

Dietician
Nutritionist ---- whats the difference between these two anyways??

And
Ultrasound technician
Radiology technician

I know these kind of vary, but im interested in all of them. Don’t have the heart to put in YEARS more of school. ………. Any help/feedback would be so helpful.

one is Licensed and is not as far as I know, Dietitians also have MS degrees I believe.
As far as how much they make this is so varied...... One Dietitian I knew made 40k a year

OK you first go to Radiology Tech school, this is a two year degree I believe and this includes ultrasound as well, you can expect the same amount of money, anywhere from 30k to 60k a year depending on where you work and what you do, it is a greatly wide field. You have to google this and get into all the specifics its just too big for me to post. Here's a jumping point, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radiologic_technologist

There are a number of pages with relevant information for people in your exact position. Be sure to take a look at the "Now Hiring" page too, to get an idea of what is involved in a typical job position.

Good luck with it.
