Do hospitals consider the medical school attended when considering applicant?
I am currently a high school student considering BA/MD and BS/MD programs; however, considering my credentials, the best of these programs that I could get into are very low ranked. Because of this, I was wondering whether or not hospital employers take the medical school you attended into consideration if you want to become a doctor at that hospital.

Yes, there are both formal and informal methods they use to consider the schools attended.

My question: Are you thinking only combined programs of BS/MD and BA/MD, and if so, why?
Why not follow the traditional route of college, then apply broadly to a lot of schools? If you are concerned about "rank" or quality of the programs

As far as residency application, the individual (anchored by clerkship grades and step 1 score) certainly is more important than the med school rank, but a top med school will help open doors.
