Which is the best stethoscope for medical students?

the light weight is much better stethoscope i have ever use.

I went to nursing school and the best stethoscope that I used is Lynford. They told me at the nursing supplies store that Lynford is a good brand for a stethoscope, doctors use it a lot, and they want students who are in the medical profession to use it as well. I have used Lynford throughout my nursing career and I have also used a stethoscope that had no brand name on it. It was just a stethoscope with stripes and it worked out just fine.

I really like the 3M Littmann Scopes. The Classics are around $100, or you could go a little cheaper with a Select for 1/2 that. No need to spend $300+ as a student, IMHO.

Just make sure to get the appropriate application model (ie: Peds, Infant, Cardio, or more general).
