B.Sc. in biology. Did cardiovascular research through out undergrad and a year after graduatoin. I am heading towards surgery, i hope i find a better alternative because the life-style scares me but not enough to deter me.

I'm 18 years old. 1st year MD student at the University of Malta. My highest qualifications are A levels in Biology and Chemstry.
Here we don't do undergrad degrees to get in Medical school so you get in right after a levels (high school equivalent).
In fact I don't really understand this whole undergrad thing and the major and stuff. -_-;
